One of my favorite pieces of all time "Self" by Marc Quinn. This self portrait is made of the average amount of blood contained in an adult male, specifically the artist's own blood, which was slowly taken out over time, and then cast and kept frozen. Thus presenting an insanely accurate self portrait.
